Leicester City Academy Director Jon Rudkin visited Kolkata to coach the India Under 17 national squad.
Rudkin expressed his surprise at the quality of many of the
players, and his pleasure at the 'refreshing' enthusiasm and
commitment of those in the squad. The India squad will travel to
LCFC later in the year to receive coaching at the club's Academy
prior to the Asian Championships in September.
FMMI recenlty brokered a partnership deal between the club and
Kingfisher East Bengal and the All Indian Football Federation.
